As apparent from our name “Vasuprada” a euphemism for Mother Earth, environmental welfare is one of our core areas of focus. We practice eco-conscious processes in growing tea, coffee and rubber, and believe in agricultural practices that are cruelty-free, protect our flora and fauna, and reduce our carbon footprint. Use of pesticides at our estates is a minimum and limited to organic products, as are the manures. We have regular plantation programs so that our plantations are nourished under the shade of tall trees. We have also restricted the use of fossil fuels with technological upgrades, that has allowed us to progress from coal to gas, thereby reducing pressure on fossil fuels. We practice and profess a sustainable lifestyle in the communities we work in and encourage the three R’s – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. R-3
